In August 2017, artists Suzie Hunt and Tony McClure were Whitworth Wallis artists in residence at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. The artists set up a studio in an empty gallery from which they could research, develop ideas, and make artworks inspired by the building and the collections.

This exhibition displays these works which explore new ways of looking at the museum and its collections.
